Our first time in MOA and IMAX

May 30, 2009 - My sister Pilar and Bro-in-law Eric's day off. They decided to bring us to MOA (Mall Of Asia) our first time there. On our way out, Zaza saw our neighbor holding her rabbit, Zaza begged to hold it, so we took a picture. We then headed to MOA.

When we arrived there, we immediately rented Zaza a car good for a day - paid Php 180 for unlimited hours. We toured around the mall, stopped for some pictures, and rested and tried out Auntie Anne's Soft Pretzels coz Eric said it was his favorite. Didn't really like the plain pretzel, I loved the one with hotdog better, so did Zaza.

(Zaza was having a hard time making the peace sign, so we just did 3. lol)

And when we said to make the number 1 hand sign - he made this. lol

Our Auntie Anne's Snack.

After Snack, Eric and Pilar decided to have us try IMAX - short for Image Maximum. It’s the first and only IMAX Theatre in the Philippines. The theatre features the largest movie screen in Asia and the first to offer the most advanced cinematic 3D in the world, known as the IMAX 3D. We watched The Night at the Museum 2 there.

After the movie we sat down for a while at the iMax Coca-Cola chill lounge while everyone else was taking a leak. We then claimed back our cameras from the baggage counter and took photos at the movie posters inside IMAX.

Zaza's dinner.

Zaza was hungry after the movie so we bought him chicken for dinner at a chicken place at MOA which name I forgot. Bought him a toy so he'd eat as he was losing appetite. We then went home, played for awhile, and rested early cause the next day we needed to go to church for the thanksgiving celebration.

(Lesson: What kids see, they follow. So be a good example. lol)

We enjoyed the day. Thanks Pilar and Eric for taking us out.

Zaza's first time in Glorietta & Burger King

May 26, 2009 - Our second day in Manila. We went to Glorietta with sister Pilar and Bro-in-law Eric. We had our first Burger King experience there. I forgot what we ordered though but it was good. Afterwards, we went to the play ground at the center cause Zaza wanted to ride those huge animal rides. Atiu Eric found him one but we were having a hard time looking for the attendant for the token, he had to buy from the mini arcade about 3mins away from the area.

Zaza had fun driving. Too bad Ae Pilar had to go to work he wasn't able to ride with her. But he rode with Ama and Atiu Eric and he loved Ama shouting everytime he made sudden turns or stopped the animal ride. lol.

After the animal rides, we went to the mini arcade to have him play there. He played at a small submarine driving a boat on screen, he also attempted to play at the Time Crisis - he wanted the gun shooting games so we played and he watched.

After the arcade we passed by Toy Kingdom and bought him a new remote controlled car - its wheels light up and the front wheels rotates 360 degrees. It's rechargeable and it really runs so fast. He loved it. It was his first toy from Manila. We then went home and rested. He kept playing with this car before bed.

Our first trip together

May 23, 2009 - We started packing for our (zaza and I) first out of the city trip together. Mom also had her bags fixed and picked up to prepare for the trip. Zaza was so excited that he kept asking if it was time to go, if it was time to ride the plane.

May 25, 2009 - Was our flight schedule. We were going to Manila to bring the house help they needed and for vacation - our first ever vacation since Zaza was born, 3 years ago. We left the house at 3pm and we headed to the airport. My last trip was around 1997, I was in high school then and churchmates were with us - we just followed everyone around, so it really felt like my first time again. hehe.

Zaza and Stephanie at the taxi on our way to the airport.

It was Stephanie's (the house help) and Zaza's first time on the plane. Mom have been to alot of trips before so she knew what to do. We arrived at the airport around almost 4pm, our flight was around 5. We showed our eticket and converted it to real ones, we checked in our stuffs and waited in the pre-departure area. I must say taking off of shoes is a big hassle back there - everyone should wear slippers.

Mom working on our tickets.

We bought water and food for Zaza and everyone at the pre-departure area and waited for our plane. We also took some photos there. When PAL PR284 arrived we went and took quick pictures outside the plane for Zaza to remember and we boarded. The plane left at exactly 17:35 or 5:35pm.

Zaza and I fooling around at the pre-departure area - waiting for our plane.

At the plane, Zaza and I took photos of us, him and mom and the view outside the plane. He didn't sleep the whole trip, he was just so amazed of how we could fly on the plane and he kept saying wow while seeing the clouds, the big water and the wing of the plane.

Zaza eating graham crackers from the stewardess.

Our tickets, supposedly, doesn't include snakcs during the flight but the stewardess found Zaza too cute and friendly that she had to give him 4 graham cracker packs. He loved them, said thank you and winked at all those pretty stewardess. He only ate 1 pack and the rest he kept inside his bag.

We arrived at the Manila airport almost 7pm and Zaza had to say wow again coz there was so much planes around and the airport was bigger compared to where we left from. He played around while we were waiting for our baggages to come out from the carousels. Ae and Atiu were waiting for us outside and they were so excited.

Zaza with Renzo and Raffy. Tito Keno and Tita Mayette also waiting for their stuffs.

When we came out and saw my sister and bro-in-law, Zaza had to run so fast and hugged Atiu and Ae. We then went straight to the apartment to rest and settle down.

Zaza's FREE Nestlé Chuckie Gift Pack

March of 2009, I don't know what exact date, but I was browsing to Ms. Rowena Wendy Lei of http://animetric.blogspot.com and I saw her post about Nestlé Chuckie's Freebie and I had to register to get the freebie cause Zaza loves Chuckie, and it's for free! The freebie was only for the first 200 to register to their site and I really thank Ms. Rowena for sharing this cause I made it to the first 200. hehe.

May 14, 2009, I received an email that my Chuckie Burstastic package was on the way.

May 22, 2009 we received Zaza's Nestlé Chuckie Gift Pack and we were so excited to open it. We were the first 200 to try their new flavors then. hehe. I personally loved the choco burst.
