We, the CDOBloggers, Inc., organized our first ever event - the Blogging101 workshop - last May 23, 2009 held at Sentro 1850, Cagayan de Oro. Our aim then was to encourage more bloggers to emerge from Cagayan de Oro and in that event, we taught them possible ways to make money online and shared some key points and techniques on SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
There were more than 70 attendees and it took about 4hrs to get done. It was a success, alot of attendees gave us positive feedbacks and we also had negative ones which we appreciated cause it'll help us know where we lacked attention to. All the speakers we prepared weren't able to speak because of time constraints but we informed everyone we would be providing soft copies of the event for those who attended only.
Sentro 1850 served a very amazing snack: Roast Beef with Monterey Jack Cheese Panini and a glass of iced tea. The panini was very tasty and heavy, just perfect for an early dinner-snack. hehehe. We all thought it was small but as soon as we had the first half of the sandwich, we couldn't barely eat the second half. lol.
As for the comments and suggestions we will make sure those concerns will be addressed at our upcoming second, huge, event - the MBS3 (Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3) that will be held at the Pryce Plaza Hotel on October 24, 2009. Visit www.mbscdo.com for event updates.
