A complete family for 5days

Alot of things has happened to our family that caused us to be one of the broken families all over the world. Some parts of our story can be read here.

Last April 10-14 we got to spend time as one again. My sister came home from Manila with her husband Eric. Even if our parents weren't talking we get to spend time as one family.

Day 1: We picked up Pilar and Eric from the Cagayan de Oro Airport and checked them in at Miami Inn, Carmen. Everyone slept at the hotel except dad who went home to get some stuffs and wanted to sleep at home to watch over the stocks there. We stayed at the hotel the whole afternoon and evening.

Day 2: YFJC invited us to go to Marvilla Beach, Opol for bonding moments. Before we went there, we had to ransack the whole hotel room because the room keys were missing but was found about 30mins after. We also had to pass by Gaisano Mall to buy Zaza a new floater coz his old one has a hole that we couldn't find. A-e Pilar and Lolo also bought him some toys to use at the beach - water guns and mini shovel and pail. Zaza enjoyed the beach and swam with Ama cause she's the only person in the family who knows how to swim. We then played with the sand using his new shovel and pail. Zaza also played with Ninong Vincent and Pastor Romy with his new water gun. He had fun and loved having so much people around him.

After the beach, we went back to the hotel to rest and had dinner/family meeting at Bigby's Cafe, Rosario Arcade.

Day 3: My sister decided to bring my bro in law to Del Monte Clubhouse and let him try the food there, but unfortunately they ran out of steaks, all they had was sandwich and their bottomless pineapple juice - so it was only what we had and we left after eating.

Before arriving at Del Monte we passed by Shell gas station to gas up and my bro-in-law saw the new Ferrari model cars w/ sound that were still complete. So he bought himself a whole set and bought Seth 2. My bro in law said back in Manila they ran out everytime so he bought the complete set here.

When we arrived at Del Monte, Seth saw the playground and we played there for awhile. He loved the merry-go-round which we don't have here in the city or anywhere nearby even the slide. After playing, we went in and ate.

Seth still didn't have the appetite then and was really not in the mood, so dad brought him out and had him ride the horse. After the horse ride, Seth felt better and we took pictures at the entrance for souvenir and headed back. We also passed by the pineapple fields and took photos there.

Day 4: We stayed at the hotel half of the day to rest. Later that afternoon Joy, Pilar, and Eric went to Lyn and Chad's apartment for their bonding moments. Kongkong (Grandpa) also arrived from Mountains of Claveria to see her beloved apo Pilar and Apo-in-law Eric.

Day 5: Their last day in CDO. We ate lunch together at sunburst and bought Kongkong a new cellphone so we couuld contact him up at the mountains. Then we brought them to the airport and said our goodbyes.

I didn't want the feeling of us being together to end, but it had to. I just thank God for giving us that small time to spend with each other. I still wish our family to be one again, I know nothing's impossible with the Lord.
